Effective date: 2026-05-14

3. Why we process it

We currently process personal data to:

  • provide access to the app and authenticate users;
  • run the Clerk-managed 14-day Pro trial and manage Pro or Pro Plus access;
  • sync and maintain a local user record linked to the authenticated account;
  • store newsletters, topics, generated editions, and delivery history;
  • process subscription, billing, cancellation, invoice, receipt, and payment-status information through Clerk Billing and Stripe;
  • send necessary service emails and edition deliveries;
  • measure aggregate public-page usage and conversion signals without sending account IDs, email addresses, newsletter content, topic names, source URLs, prompt text, or generated editions into the analytics tool;
  • operate, secure, debug, and improve the service during the early launch.

6. Retention

We keep account, newsletter, topic, edition, and delivery records while the account and service are still active, and for as long as they are needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Some operational and billing records may persist longer in backups, logs, or provider systems where required for security, accounting, tax, dispute, or legal reasons. Self-serve deletion and export remain limited during the early launch.

7. Your choices and rights

You can contact us to ask for a copy of or access to the personal data we hold, or to request correction, deletion, or clarification about billing during the early launch.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to object to some processing or to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. For users in Poland, that includes the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

8. Early launch note

This privacy notice is deliberately narrow. It reflects the product as it exists today: public signup through Clerk, a Clerk-managed 14-day Pro trial with payment details required, Pro and Pro Plus paid plans through Clerk Billing and Stripe, no marketing consent flow, cookieless Umami analytics limited to public pages, and no adtech or session replay. If the product expands, this page will expand with it.
